MP will be attending Luke’s Memorial Service today
John Baron MP today will be attending the Memorial Service at St. Martin’s Church, Basildon for Cllr Luke Mackenzie, Mayor of Basildon. Luke sadly passed away after a recent cancer diagnosis.
John said:
“It was a shock to hear about Luke’s sudden cancer diagnosis and his passing. I knew Luke for many years through his political activity and was pleased to see him take on a number of elected offices. I know that he made a real difference to the local area as a Ward Councillor, County Councillor and as Mayor, and he will be sorely missed. Our condolences are with his parents, family and friends.”
