MP: Government should go for growth and lower taxes
Tomorrow is ‘Tax Freedom Day’, which marks when we stop working for the taxman and start earning for ourselves. Up to this point, every penny the average person earns goes to the taxman. This year Tax Freedom Day is the latest in 40 years.
John said,
“It should give a Conservative Government pause for thought that Tax Freedom Day is getting ever later and is now the latest for 40 years. Ministers from the Prime Minister down should be cutting taxes in order to encourage greater prosperity for all and in order that we can better help those less fortunate.”
